5 days left

Nearing the end...So, I hit the road block at the same time as last time...Day 14!  Not sure what that's really all about, but I find that to be the biggest struggle day during the 21 days.  Now that I'm past it, I'm back in full swing!

I tried the roasted fennel bulb tonight; can't say that I'm a fan of that one.  I'm thankful that the majority of the recipes are terrific though.  It's fun trying new foods and knowing that they are good for me.  I guess my favorite part about the Reset, besides feeling so great, is that I remember how to eat clean!  It lasts usually about 3 months after I complete the Reset.  Then I'll find myself drifting a bit and have to work hard to pull myself back on track.  I'm hoping I get it to last longer this time around.  Glad I have a program that helps me understand how good a vegetarian diet really is and that I can be fully satisfied eating only fruits and veggies :)

no cravings

A-MAZ-ING feeling!!!!!!  I love that my body is able to enjoy the benefit of receiving the nutrients it needs to perform and therefore does not need any junk as a filler :)  AHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Full

I am seriously amazed at how full I feel on this diet!  The food is so good and yet, you eat a small portion of everything, or at least I would think it's on the small side, but it fills you up!  It's kind of a mind bender for me :)  I do like the fact that I enjoy preparing the food too.  Although it takes time, the aromas are wonderful.  You have to take a supplement at least 30 min. prior to eating, which gives you the time you need to prepare the food, and during that time I find that I am concentrating on what I'm doing and ENJOYING the preparation.  I know my struggles will come with the evening cravings but I have to say the first week is always so nice because you really are just plain motivated and besides...you are doing all that work to prepare your food, you wouldn't want to throw it all away with a handful of chips ;)

Here I go again!!!!

I started another round of the Ultimate Reset cleansing 21 day diet plan!  I really loved how I felt last year after completing it and am ready to get back there.  I really let myself go after my 25k race in May this year and I have the Disney half marathon in February 2014 so it's time to kick it in gear!  Not to mention I turn 40 in just a few short week...yikes!  Anyway, it is day 3 right now and it was much easier grocery shopping and preparing foods this time around so far.  I think because I realized that  I didn't have to use EVERY recipe in the book and could repeat my favorites :)  I'm so excited!!!

stronger!!!!

I feel so good!!!!  I cannot believe how much stronger I feel right now.  I've done well with the first 2 weeks of INSANITY.  I missed a couple days but I still feel much stronger than when I started.  I love the feeling of the dripping sweat rolling off me when I work this hard.  I cannot wait for tomorrow as I repeat the fit test and actually measure my improvement!!!

The next insane challenge!!!

I decided to begin a new challenge on 2/1/13...INSANITY!!!!  For those of you who may not know, The INSANITY challenge is a set of videos that are pretty intense workouts.  This is made by the same group that makes P90X (Beachbody).  It lasts for 60 days.  Thankfully I have people in my world that are wanting to do this (and some of them have actually completed this before).  So I started a facebook challenge page for the 7 of us working on this in order to hold us all accountable.  I'm a bit sore on Day 4 (got a late start due to some family stuff) but am already feeling stronger and healthier.  I can't wait to see where this goes from here :)

I think I am really RESET!!!!

Today I drank my usual Shakeology for breakfast and had my salad for lunch.  For dinner I decided to treat myself with Taco Bell (we always end up doing fast food on Tuesday while picking up Ally and transporting her to gymnastics).  It was really good, I haven't had anything like that in a while.  And on our way to the gym I saw a Starbucks and I just so happened to have a giftcard from Christmas to spend so I went through the drive thru and collected a white chocolate mocha!  I figured that would be another treat I could enjoy while watching Ally during her class.  I knew I'd be on my elliptical tonight to burn it all off anyway.  I got through half of it!  That's it!  I didn't want the rest!  For those that know me, they probably think that I have completely lost my mind.  I think I am totally engrossed with counting calories and things just simply do not taste quite the same.  I'm thankful for my awareness and my RESET!!!!  It's fun making strides forward to become the healthier person that I really want to be :)
